A study for people with head and neck cancer that has come back (recurred) or spread to other parts of the body (metastasized)
This study is testing how safe and effective a study medication is for people with head and neck cancer that has come back (recurred) or spread to other parts of the body (metastasized) compared to medications that are currently used.
You may be considered for the OrigAMI-5 Study based on your disease status. Everyone who participates in the study will get medicines that are typically given for head and neck cancer. Some participants may also get study medication. The study doctor will let you know which medicines you will be getting before you start study treatment.
The goal of this study is to test how well the study medication in combination with approved head and neck cancer medicines works to stop or slow your cancer compared with using standard of care medicines for head and neck cancer.
Head and neck cancer includes several cancers in different parts of the head and neck such as the1:
- oral cavity
- salivary glands
- throat (pharynx)
- nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses
- voice box (larynx)

Participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two groups. Patients will receive treatment every 21 days. This is called a 21-day cycle.
